Art of Problem Solving | Academy is an advanced after school learning program for gifted students in math, science and language arts. The company is over 20 years old and in need of a full brand refresh and website redesign. The new color palette references the original green and blue palette but in complimentary shades leaning into green as the primary defining color. Orange was brought in to add warmth as well as warm toned grays to create a subtle inviting atmosphere. The school’s namesake comes from the teaching approach of breaking down complex problems into smaller pieces to solve first. This concept is represented with the isometric block illustrations which are angled to sit on a grid formed by the companies legacy cube logo. The graphic elements have dashed and hand drawn lines to represent prototyping and working out ideas. There is a sleek playfulness to the brand that feels trustworthy, yet approachable. The rebrand helps them stand out as a premium product in the education space.
